A hearty breakfast in Helsinki’s centre
Our flavoursome breakfast gets your day going and provides an opportunity for enjoying the morning, perhaps with a newspaper in hand. Our diverse buffet breakfast is served in our café on Helsinki’s Boulevard every weekday. On the weekends we offer brunch. Our breakfast table boasts a plentiful and broad selection of breakfast classics, good coffee and tea as well as an unparalleled atmosphere.
Even an everyday breakfast at Ekberg’s is more than just a breakfast. Helsinki and its coffee house traditions are always strongly present at Ekberg, the oldest café in Finland. Our buffet’s offerings are always fresh, and the breads are fresh out of the oven.
Ekberg’s breakfast comes from fresh ingredients
Breakfast is served on weekdays from 7.30-10.30. Our buffet offers a rich selection of our own bakery’s hand baked breads, croissants, cheese, cold cuts, vegetables, porridge, muesli, boiled eggs, creamy oven omelette, sweet dessert as well as coffee, tea and juice.

Breakfast served with a nice hot cup of coffee
We serve our own Arabica organic coffee blend with breakfast, which is sustainably farmed and handpicked. The beans originate from Latin America and Sumatra. We grind the beans ourselves, right before the coffee is made. This way the beans release the best possible aroma. Our coffee is rich and soft in taste, with a hint of hazelnut and dark chocolate.
For tea lovers, we have chosen different high quality teas from around the world. Among others, we offer black, white, green and oolong tea as well as rooibos.
